  • We strongly encourage players to travel together as a team.
  • If five or more players are flying to the tournament together, they must wear khaki pants or shorts with either a red or the white Texans’ polo shirt or Texans’ Warm-up (all must be the same).
  • As long as the team is still playing in the tournament, players are required to meet at a designated time as specified by the coach or manager to do any team related activities such as meals, walks, etc.
  • Teams will be traveling from the hotel to the fields and back together.
  • Players must be dressed uniformly when departing to the games.
  • Using the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, exercise equipment, or the like must only be done with permission of the coach.
  • Players must never leave the hotel without permission of the coach, even if leaving with their parents. The coach must know the whereabouts of all players at all times.
  • Players must follow the itinerary and must follow curfew precisely.
  • For teams U11-U13, the players have the option of staying with their own parents.
  • For teams U14 and older, the players must room together if required by the coach.
  • Every person associated with the Texans’ Club must follow the rules of the hotel in which they are staying.
  • Players are not allowed to run around in the hotel, play soccer in the hotel hallways, or walk barefoot or shirtless.
  • If the tournament has both male and female teams, casual association during free time will be allowed in public areas, but absolutely no player will enter the rooms of players of the opposite sex.
  • If a conference is necessary between the coach and an individual player, it must be done in the lobby of the hotel or if a more private area is required, then it needs to be done in the presence of a manager or the parent of the player or another adult.
  • No player will consume or possess alcoholic beverages or tobacco products.
  • No player will possess or be under the influence of any drug, narcotic, or controlled substance that has not been legally prescribed to that player...
  • A player whose parents are not on the trip or at the hotel, must have an adult present on the trip to report to; the player must keep this adult informed of their whereabouts at all times.
  • Prior to the trip, parents not traveling (or not staying in the hotel with the players) are responsible for making arrangements with one of the other adults to chaperone their child; however, all parents and players acknowledge that the ultimate responsibility for the conduct of each player lies with the player and his/her family.
  • Further, it is understood that violation of the Travel Policy rules of conduct will result in discipline by the player’s coach, ranging from benching to suspension from the team.
  • Each parent, guardian and player waives all rights to make any claim for injury or other loss against the OK Texans Soccer Club or another parent, player, coach, guardian, or any agent of the club who drives, supervises or chaperones players during a club trip, tournament or other organized club event, unless the injury or loss is the result of that person's or entity's gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
